Renaud Bouchet is Professor in Electrochemistry and materials Science at the Institut Polytechnique of Grenoble since 2012. He makes his lectures in the Engineer School PHELMA. After his diploma of electrochemical engineering (ENSEEG, 1996), he obtained his PhD degree in Electrochemistry from Grenoble INP in 1999. After one year postdoc at Ecole Polytechnique (Palaiseau), he was recruited as Assistant Professor at Aix-Marseille University (AMU) in 2000 and obtained his HDR diploma from AMU in 2006. His main field of interest concerns the basic study of charge transport trough divided materials (nanocomposite, nanostructured materials…) in applications linked to electrochemical storage. The analysis of the relationships- composition, structure, texture and the electrical properties, enables the efficient design of multifunctionnal materials (Polymers, ceramics..) for the application.

He received in 1999, the PhD first prize of Grenoble INP, in 2005 the Electrochemistry Prize from the French Chemical Society, and in 2014 the international prize EDF Pulse Science and Electricity for his work in Electrochemical Storage (http://pulse.edf.com/fr/siel-la-batterie-du-futur-plus-autonome-et-plus-fiable).

He co-authored 46 publications, 3 book chapters, 3 world patents, and 65 oral communications (6 invited).
